Applause Please 2: The Encore

Another batch of Applause Please 2: The Encore will be ready soon! This is the prop that I use for the object in light bulb effect. Traditionally this effect uses a lamp onstage, but I’ve changed that lamp to an applause sign!

I don’t have these in stock all the time as the outer applause box I don’t make, Phil over at Ackerly Builds currently makes them for me. That means that I get them in batches of about a dozen and those are then all gimmicked at the same time and offered for sale at the same time and usually sell out pretty quickly.

The batch of Applause Please 2: The Encore arrived over the weekend and they’re shipping out today! This was unavailable for about a year and I now have them in stock!

This is the props for my object in lightbulb routines. You get two complete routines with all of the necessary props* for my liquid in lightbulb routine and my color changing silk to lightbulb routine. In addition to that you learn how to use it as a warm up and there’s some other bonus ideas!

*it doesn’t come with any liquid, so you’ll need to get some red Gatorade or make some by adding food coloring to water if you want to do the liquid in lightbulb routine.

Building Applause Please 2’s

Yesterday I started work on the current batch of Applause Please 2. This is the prop used for my “object in lightbulb” routines. The base and outer shell of the applause sign are made by Brian over at Magic Crafter and look amazing!

Yesterday I added the switch and lightbulb holder to the bases.

I also made all of the electronic parts and added the remote controls.

Today I’ll be adding the electronics to the boxes and packing everything up. Hopefully I can get all of my preorders out in the mail tomorrow!

I only have one left if you want to order the Applause Please 2 from me, however four of these are going to Hocus-Pocus.com, so they’ll have them in a few days.

Applause Please 2 Update

I’m still working on building the Applause Please V2 units. I’ve got all of the internal parts built and ready to go into the applause sign boxes.

There’s still a lot more to be done with this project before they are ready to be sold. I still need to edit the instructional video, finish the artwork and write the ad copy.

Currently this batch has 5 units and all 5 units will be available from Hocus-Pocus.com when they are finished.
